DIY Plans for a folding stick chair. The chair is a low, comfortable chair, that does not need a side table. You can quite easily reach your cup of tea or glass of beer from the ground.
The chair can be folded up in one easy movement and stored or placed
somewhere until needed.

All dimensions throughout this project are given in both inches (standard) and metric (mm) units.

Materials you will need to build this chair...

WOOD:
48ft (14.5m) of 1-3/8 x 1-3/4" (35x 44mm) stock, or a stock size close to it.

YOU WILL ALSO NEED:
4 lengths of 5/32" (4mm) diameter galvanized mild steel wire 32" (800mm) long.
And 8 of 1/4" (6mm) screws 1-1/4" (32mm) long with washers
