Description

DIY Plans for a two seater Jack and Jill seat that is easy to build, inexpensive, solid, looks good, and is very very comfortable.
It is made solely out of 2x4 (50 x 100mm) and 1x6 (25 x 150mm) rough lumber.

The downloadable PDF file contains 19 pages which include plans, pictures, drawings, a materials list, a cutting plan, and easy step-by-step building instructions.

The overall length of the structure is 74" (1880mm)

All dimensions throughout this project are given in both inches (standard) and metric (mm) units.

Materials you will need for this project:

LUMBER
You can cut all of the pieces out of the following:
5 only lengths of 2x4 (50 x 100mm) lumber @ 8ft (2400mm) long.
9 only lengths of 1x6 (25 x 150mm) lumber @ 6ft (1800mm) long.

FIXINGS
60 of 3-1/2" (90mm) galvanized flathead nails (or screws in place of)
100 of 3" (75mm) galvanized flathead nails (or screws in place of)
4 of 3/8" (10mm) x 3/1/2" (110mm) long galvanized bolts with nuts and
washers
6 of 6" (150mm) long construction type or similar heavy type screws.
