Description
The DIY plans provide instructions on how to construct a low chair modeled after the Adirondack chair.
This particular design is the simplest, most affordable, and easiest to construct among those created by the author.
The chair's seating area is lower than a standard Adirondack chair but is still comfortable.
Additionally, the chair has a flat backrest instead of the traditional curved shape.
The 13-page downloadable PDF includes plans, photos, drawings, a shopping list, a cutting list, and easy-to-follow building instructions.
All dimensions are provided in both standard inches and metric units.
To build this chair, you will need three 2x4 rough-sawn lumber pieces that are 8ft (2440mm) long for the frame
and four 1x6 rough-sawn lumber pieces that are 6ft (1800mm) long for the arms, seat, and back boards.
